Arsenal 2005-2006 Home Jersey

Arsenal 2005-2006 Home Jersey
The Arsenal 2005–2006 home jersey, designed by Nike, was created as a special edition to celebrate the club’s final season at Highbury before moving to the Emirates Stadium. Departing from the usual red-and-white look, the shirt featured a deep “redcurrant” color throughout, inspired by the jerseys worn by Arsenal in their first season at Highbury in 1913. The sleeves, usually white, were also fully redcurrant, making the kit one of the most unique in Arsenal’s history. A golden Nike swoosh and club crest added elegance, while the O2 sponsor appeared in white at the center of the shirt. Inside the collar, the shirt carried a commemorative message marking the “Highbury 1913–2006” tribute. This kit is legendary not only for its historical meaning but also because it was worn during Arsenal’s unforgettable run to the 2006 Champions League Final in Paris, with stars like Thierry Henry, Robert Pirès, Cesc Fàbregas, and Sol Campbell.
